Jan 2008--WOW!!! Can't believe were already half way through Jan.! Jake and I took our youth group to Boone, NC this past weekend on a snow skiing trip! What are the chances of us going away to seek out snow and it snows in Alabama! huh! We had a great time with NO serious injuries! I did have one great big fall going about 20 mph! It was TERRIBLE! I hit chest and face first! WOW! I am pretty sure my ribs are either cracked a bit or severely bruised! So, trying not to cough or laugh to much -- OUCH!!!

We are so glad to be back home with our boys and with the passing of little Bronner Burgess, it gave me a reality check! I don't want to take for granted the time I have to train my boys in God's word and live for Him in the short time we have here on this earth!
